A Highland Cow (also called a Highland Coo or Hairy Coo) stands just off the road on the Isle of Mull (across from Iona) in Scotland, UK
Highland Coos are the oldest cattle breed in the world, appearing in the 6th century in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. This Hairy Coo, grazing on the side of the road, was photographed shortly after coming off the ferry from the Isle of Iona to the Isle of Mull.
