The 2024 Supermoon from Port Washington, WI (South Beach) as it rises over the harbor sandwiched between 2 banks of clouds.
What began as a cloudy night for the year’s final Supermoon in November (called the Beaver Moon) did not feel like a good omen for one seeking to snap a photo or two. However, the clouds broke and created a sliver of sky for the moon to peak through at just the right time. A perigee or supermoon like this one is on average 7% bigger and 16% brighter than an average full Moon.
